Finally a Boy

I am so glad to have a boy to photograph for newborns.  I love, love, love all the cutesy little girl hats, bows, props and accessories but it's fun to change things up a little bit.

This little guy was 3 weeks old when I took these but he had still to reach six pounds.  He was just a few ounces over 4 pounds at birth but completely healthy.  It was amazing how tiny he was and he did a freat job.  A regular little SUPERMAN!!!

Enjoy.

Senior Sessions

I am in the midst of finding my style. Now that the technical side of things is becoming second nature I am so eager to become ME with my images.  I want a client ot look at a photo and say "That must be one of  Risa's images."

Here are a few from some senior sessions that I did.  Enjoy!

Addy turns one

This little bundle of energy is such a good natured child.  She is in a good mood so much of the time and was a pleasure to chase around with the camera.

Abigail as a newborn

You have to get a look at miss Abigail.  She is so absolutely adorable.  I can't get enough of her.

The J Family

I actually did these kids in different sessions.  But that's easier to do when they are your own.

How could I start any other way on this blog than with my own  blessings.

This is Nathaniel.  A freshman, 15 yrs old and just got his driver's permit.  That's enough to make any mama nervous.  But he's turning into such a compassionate and respectful man.  I'm so excited to watch as he grows into who he will be.

We found an old abandoned carwash that I just had to try out.  It's so much fun when you get great pictures at unusual locations.
This is my
middle son, Reilly.  He's 13 so we're
just starting the teenage years with him.
He's so smart and funny.  Just a delight.

Payton is my baby.  She's 12 and growing so fast.  I think she's gorgeous (but I am biased) and Yes, her hair is naturally curly.
She is such a treasure so it's fitting that her middle name is Jewel.

Now you've met my children and seen just a taste of my work.
Thanks for stopping by.

Just Getting Started

I am so excited to be starting this blog for Living Legacy Photography.  I have had a passion for photography for over 20 years and now am at a point in my life to begin capturing moments full time.

This will be one of the places you can see my work.  Right now we are also on FaceBook and should have a website up shortly after the first of the year.

For my first post I want to put up a few of my favorite images.  Keep checking back for updates, specials and new portraits.

About This Blog

This page is to give you a glimpse of my style. It is still evolving at the moment but is quickly becoming what I envisioned.

As I learn and grow in photography you will see that I will capture a purity in my work that will draw you into the person.
I also like a very processed look and that will continue to increase.

If this is what your looking for in your images I would love to meet you and schedule and appointment. If not, then I would still love to hear from you.

Enjoy browsing through my portraits and have a blessed day.

Risa
